The Norton Branch Library plays a role in honoring our community’s important milestone!
Learn about our Personal Food Computer, a project of the Public Library Innovation Exchange (PLIX). PLIX was created by the MIT Media Lab and the Knight Foundation to bring together researchers and librarians to create programming that transforms learning and works to solve real-world problems.
The Main Event Speaker Series, an author series featuring prominent voices from the worlds of literature, the arts, politics and journalism, resumes with writer Thrity Umrigar on Thursday, July 19 at 7 p.m. in the Main Library auditorium in downtown Akron.
The Akron-Summit County Public Library Bookmobile will begin its summer schedule beginning June 11 through August 18.
Mind, Body & Sole: Libraries Rock! is a reading/wellness experience for the whole family to enjoy. New this year is a special collaboration with Summit DD that invites adults and children with developmental disabilities to participate.
